Anne ready for the dinner party with mutual friends!
Jet lacked (14 hours!) but happy they arrived after 25 hours travelling at house 7049A, our home! We had a couple of wonderful days together before they went on to do their business here in Korea. House empty again! But I had plenty to do before our trip to Sweden. Some last errands, packing a farewell luncheon, a function and cleaning up before leaving. And in between writing, writing and writing…..
Me, Yuree, Chi & Anne interupted for "picture time".
Mike, John, Anders & Karlton enjoying themselves?
Karlton serving the main dish and taking ryhming in our guestbook to a new level!

Spouses of the UNC/NNSC got together at the Navy Club on Base to say goodbye to Essie Wu and her son David. While enjoying eachothers company we also feel sad to bid a wonderful woman farewell.
Mardi Gras, a Night on Bourbon Street
This
evening was arranged by the AFSC (American Forces Spouses Club) with the goal
to create a fun, fabulous and festive evening AND doing so raising funds for
Korean- and American Welfare projects.
The evening
became just that! The fundraising was done by a silent and live auction. Ladies of the AFSC, under the leadership of Elisa Ketter arranged this evening, did a marvelous job creating the atmosphere and
managed to collect many different items for the auctions. We mingled and bid, silently, on the so very
many products available, knowing it would give assets to many welfare projects. Afterwards it was time to enjoy the live auction with
devoted auctioneers!
But why oh why did I buy the Scooter?
