(Retrived Blog from Tuesday, 14 February 2012) From Bangkok to Hua Hin and soon returning back.....

About a week (actually a bit longer for I've hd problems getting on the internet :)) ago three of my friends, a lovely toddler and I flew from Inchon Airport, leaving the cold and snow in Seoul in order to enjoy sunshine, shopping and great food.
We kicked off with roaming the streets of Bangkok for some serious shopping and eating.

Margaritas................. for wine is too expensive.

My good friend Anne, best shopper "ever"

Early on Sunday morning we went for the famous weekend market and found some lovely treasures we can enjoy giving away or keep. We met up with ‘my’ seamstress for a couple of hours ordering lots and lots of items to extend our wardrobe.
After a few days in the capitol city of Thailand we left for Hua Hin, a beachside resort South of Bangkok on the Gulf of Thailand. This destination gave us the chance to relax, walk the beach, ride elephants, horses, and various other types of tuktuks, as well as visit the Royal Palace and meet new and fabulous people.

All of us get along very well. We are enjoying much laughter, making crazy video “reports” from the different places we visited and kicking back by ourselves if we felt like it.
Quite a positive experience being with new found friends for more then a week!

"Badmeester, ben ik al bruin?"

Thanks to Yuree we find our way aroundand we all adore her youngerst child, Heather.

Wonderful people and wonderful food!
